I've been into crochet lately and here is a little blanket and hat I made for my daughter's teacher who will be having a baby boy in couple of weeks.
The kids were throwing a Baby Shower for her and what is a baby shower without a gift.
I had the pattern from here cre8tioncrochet.com and the hat pattern from here what I like about this hat that it's working in a round so there is seam.
I was told she liked it.

My First Paper Card
Few days ago my daughter finished her Summer School and at 11pm the night before I realized I should have gotten a little something for the teacher.
And then I had a brilliant idea... I'm just going to make her a card, but I never made a card before so I looked to Pinterest for an idea and here is what I came up with.
I love how the flower turned

I haven't been here for over a year and a half, and alot have changed, I've bought a new cutting machine and moved to work with vinyls and lots small personalized gifts, and I love it. Here are a few pictures of tumblers I've done recently and I have to say they are very popular this summer.

Easter Wreath
Every DIY, Mommy, or design blog you read now is about Easter, and why not... Easter is only 2 weeks away.
Well I thought I will add to this Easter frenzy with my cute plastic egg wreath my 4 year old help me make.
And since I have this thing for wreaths as you can read in this post it just fits perfectly.
I really liked a wreath I found on This is my Life blog and couldn't say no to it. So thank you Cindi from This is my Life for a wonderful Easter decoration.
For the instructions on how to make this please refer to Cindi's blog
The only changes I made are first I cut the circles about 1inch smaller and used smaller eggs about 45 of them.
My plastic eggs wreath hanging on my front door.

Old Book Wreath
I love Wreaths,I don't know what it is about them but I just love them, I even have a whole board on Pinterest dedicated to them. My favorite so far are the yarn and felt wreaths, like this one by Jo-Anna from A Pretty Life in the Suburbs
isn't it just lovely
And how about this. I absolutely adore it and will make it some day, this one is by Sandi Terese from I'm a Yarner
The one I recently made isn't as fancy as the two above but I love it. I came across the tutorial somewhere in the blog land and it's simple to make...
all you need is
- a cardboard circle (mine was 9")
- old book
- glue gun
- ribbon
Take the pages out of the book and glue them to the circle as far apart or as tight together as you want them, attach your ribbon at the back and done.
You can fancy it up by burning the edges of the book up before you glue them on or you can distress the edges a bit more using brown ink and sponge.

Happy Valentines Day!
Happy Love Day everyone! Valentines Day was never a holiday that was celebrated in our home, but ever since we have Natalia this holiday is now fun to celebrate. This year is a first year she actually gets it and it was so nice watching her excitement when she was picking out a special card for daddy and writing her message inside or helping me make special Valentines Day cards for her friends.
BTW, Thanks Pintrest for the great idea.
